Mixing and matching is something I've always had to do in order to create what I consider to be that perfect outfit.  Making sure that everything is covered—that gloves are on and no cleavage is showing—can be quite the task if you want your outfit to remain flattering.  Arwen hits this nail on the head and making sure that my free woman is properly covered is something I've never had to worry about when purchasing her goods.

  

Due to this I only ever mix and match outfits from Arwen's when I am seeking a unique look.  The above outfit is entirely from her revamped Niamh gown.  I decided to switch out the veil for the gold and black one that's been featured a lot on this blog as I just love the style and colors.  I also accessorized with a lovely Celtic style necklace made by The Forge which I won playing gachas.

Lady Lena

There are so many wonderful events going on in second life and for the last few months I haven't even purchased anything that's a regular release, I've just been event hopping.  Enchantment is having it's round this month, and I especially love the new format which offers prizes to those individuals who fully participate.  The events are exclusive so if you don't pick them up soon you won't be able to once this round of Enchantment closes.  The headscarf is but one of the prizes I snagged from Enchantment's prizes and I am very happy with it, especially since I'm always looking for different styles of headscarfs/hijabs.

Lena is the name of the dress that I am wearing, which is an exclusive color made specifically for We <3 RP (mine is tented however).  The rest of the outfit includes the ever faithful Arwen's Creations, some bindi, lovely gacha items, and a pair of beautiful slippers (although quite hard to see in this picture) which are currently available at Collabor88.

A Gacha Affair

Due to the fact that nearly all of the items listed here are from Fantasy Gacha Carnival and The Secret Affair I've decided to simply name this post, "A Gacha Affair."  It's a bit of a pun as well given that the name of my blog is The Gorean Lady and this outfit is most certainly not one a Gorean Lady would wear.  However, I'm having quite the affair with fantasy at the moment due to all these wonderful second life events so today's post will be a break from the ordinary, I hope you enjoy!

I had a lot of fun dressing up my avatar which consists of Alchemy's Mother of Dragons headdress from The Secret Affair, as well as May's Soul Arabian headdress from Fantasy Gacha Carnival.  The Golden bra and skirt are also from Alchemy, available at this round of fantasy gacha.  All of the feathery accessories are from .aisling's Fangarth, another gacha item, while the feet jewelry is from one of pure poison's gacha booths at the carnival.  The rest of the outfit will be listed below so be sure to take a peak if you're interested.  Happy gacha-ing!

The Qarth Lady

Hello! It's been a few days since my last post as I've been busy with some lovely role play I've undertaken. The ensemble today is probably of no surprise given that this gown has been blogged on various occasions to promote The Secret Affair. Well, as you can see, I've decided to take a stab at it while making the gown Gorean appropriate.

Arwen's Creations helped with this, and in actuality, the whole gown is from Game of Thrones inspired works with the undershirt and flexi parts being pieces from Arwen's Win or Die. The rest of the piece mostly consists of my all familiar veils and head coverings, enjoy!

Gift of Garnet

Gachas are addictive fun; full of trading and sometimes even gift giving. The season of giving isn't just for the holidays because this lovely corset from Velvet Whip was gifted to me from a lovely second life resident. After receiving said gift I wasted no time at all into putting together an outfit that features this garnet and gold creation.

If the skirt looks a little familiar to you that's because it's the same skirt I used in my last post, from the one and only Junbug. The combination worked out quite flawlessly due to the fact that the skirt's corset is cinched, making it possible to be hidden beneath the Inlaid Corset from V/W. The rest of this outfit includes items from We <3 RP, Fantasy Gacha Carnival, The Fantasy Collective, The Countdown Room, and Fit for a Princess.

Snakeye

I'm not sure if you ladies have noticed, but every single post on this blog is saturated by red and that's a trend I will more than likely continue. My blog isn't sponsored by any person, event, or store, so everything displayed here is acquired through my own personal means. My character in second life is a scarlet caste free woman, hence most everything published here will reflect that. So...continuing with the trend, I have put together another outfit featuring the lovely ladies of Junbug and Arwen's Creations.

The outfit also has a necklace that I procured from Torvis Gorean Weapons' gacha at the 30L Anniversary Fair.  It ends today so if you haven't dropped by the place, be sure to do so before it closes. Also, I decided to title this outfit Snakeye because of the necklace which I absolutely adore from TGW, enjoy!

Win or Die

If my previous blog posts aren't indication enough, I adore Arwen's Creations. Since she caters her gowns to Gorean free women, bits and pieces of her clothes are almost vital to any ensemble I create. Not only does Arwen have two gowns on discounted this month for We <3 RP, but for the Game of Thrones premier she has two outfits inspired by the show currently on sale at her Mainstire (only until 12 pm slt, April 6). I already had this gown in the Lannister edition but decided to grab the Targaryen since a sale from Arwen is so rare! Definitely do not want to miss out on this one.

Coupled with this outfit is a hood (because my character is a proper Gorean free woman :P) and a necklace that I purchased at the 30L Anniversary Fair.
